I fall down, down into sleep
Where, near death, dismal spectres roam
With a heavy heart, calmed by despair
I peer deep, deep into the gloom
I see this strange place, when, like in death, I awake
I draw breaths of sweet, sickly air
And cast my eyes along this veiled road
There I walk in the desolation
A pallbearer for long passed days
In this strange and obscure place
A despondent land of lonely ruin
I see weary and weeping faces
And hear my own decaying voice
“My heart is breaking
So when my time comes
Please lay me down in the water
And let me drift away”
A crowd is there on a wind-swept shore
They’re staring out to sea
With the tide I depart
In cold grey seas beneath the stars
With the bleak land so far away… I’m gone
Slumbering thoughts bring waking lies
From sad phantoms of the past
Who excavate shadows
But set my heart at rest

Dusk has come to a life sad and long decayed
Where I once walked, old shadows lie
But in that beautiful void, the loneliest place there is
A heart is still and all words are ash
When a sadness draws me down
Leave me to lie, unchain me from the earth
Leave me at rest, paling to shade
When a sadness has lingered too long
Set down the sun and hang the silent moon
Close all the doors and withdraw amid the silence
In a bleak home of despair
A house emptied of its cares
A haunted fearful place lost in its own shadows
Harrowed but somehow quietly grieving
I long to stay here
Sombre and in corruption

That gently haunt my darker days
A fragile space grey with nostalgia
And with regret, full of imagined sorrows
But then that dreadful day
Amid the prevailing decay
When drifting in ghastly silence
Despair!
The last rays come down
All is black and desolate
Nothing stirs and nothing sighs
Everything is dust
So now lacerate my heart
And draw the ghost from my veins
As draughts of ancient light come pouring down
For me, here, to lie in its deathless glow
Its embracing warmth, its silent comfort
Now the older days have passed me by
Like empty thoughts cast aside
So into the void and its endless embrace

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.
